SeaChange AHU Controller Test Specification

0004/00xx AHU DIN...   

version 1.0 22/04/99

Initial setup

  1. Connect Serial Adapter to a PC
  2. connect Serial adapter to network
  3. Load Doorway program
  4. select AHU Test 0004/00xx display page

Test Procedure

  1. fit prom to the board (AHU4b2.. AHUSM4b2..) or later issue
  2. connect network to the board , terminals J15
  3. check LED 3 flashes once red as power is applied, Processor running OK
  4. check 5V supply within 250mV, by measuring across U1 pins 1 and 8. Power supply OK
  5. If testing with Doorway click on TEST and set value to 1 (config 120) to select test mode. Go to test 7.
  6. Remove network connection. Hold down SW1 register button while re-connecting the network to the board .When LED 3 starts flashing release SW 11.
  7. Press SW1 check LED 3 is red while button is depressed LED 3/SW11 OK
  8. Doorway should display an alarm message.. Transmit communications OK
  9. Accept the alarm by clicking All
  10. LED3 should keep flashing GREEN.
  11. Top line of display will show the name of the loaded program this should be match the prom fitted in step 1… Receive communications OK
  12. press SW9, LED 2 should show amber while button is depressed … SW9/LED2 OK
  13. press SW10 LED 2 should show amber while button is depressed… SW10 OK
  14. Check computer display shows following values typical values shown in brackets
    • ACH1  less than 0.00  (-0.34 )
    • ACH2  less than 0.00  (-0.34 )
    • ACH3  less than 0.05  (0.00  )
    • ACH4  less than -8.00 (-9.82)
    • ACH5  less than 0.00  (-0.34)
    • ACH6  less than 0.00  (-0.34)
  15. Switch on test resistors (10K 1%) or fit resistors to external input pins J18-J19 and J5-J8.
  16. Wait for temperature readings to settle check readings are … Analog to digital converter OK
    • ACH1  25.00 +/- 0.50
    • ACH2  25.00 +/- 0.50
    • ACH3  60.00 +/- 5.00
    • ACH4   25.00 +/- 1.50
    • ACH5   25.00 +/- 0.50
    • ACH6   25.00 +/- 0.50
  17. If AHUSM file is being used check that the TEST value on the screen is counting seconds 1 to 60... real time clock OK. On a virgin board it may take a couple of minutes to charge the storage capacitor BT1, if in doubt check voltage on BT1 clock should be running if above 3.5v
